Practical information

There is no participation/attendance fee but the costs of travel and accommodation will be held by participants.

The event will run from Thursday 28th to Friday 29th September 2017 at  NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities

The  Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities is an institution with a great reputation in the Portuguese higher education panorama and is a national and international reference for study and research in the social sciences and humanities. It is located at one of the most central districts of the city of Lisbon, near the Museum Calouste Gulbenkian and it is served by two metro stations, S. Sebastião (blue line) and Campo Pequeno (yellow line). From the Lisbon airport and the main railway station (Oriente), you can take the metro (red line) and then go out at São Sebastião (red/blue line) or change in Saldanha (red/yellow line).

A variety of accommodation is available near the forum location (here you can find the Trip Advisor List of the best hotels near Museum Calouste Gulbenkian). Otherwise, we recommend the famous Baixa-Chiado (downtown – on the blue metro line) and the charming Graça (between the metro stations Martim Moniz and Santa Apolonia) districts.
